This once-in-a-lifetime ranching opportunity is comprised of 591+ acres with a grandiose mountain estate spanning over 9,500 square feet. Catering to the equestrian owner, the ranch was developed with horses in mind and includes a luxurious 5-stall barn with a caretaker’s apartment and heated tack room. Having every imaginable accessory, the home has 5 bedrooms, his and her offices, 8.5 bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, media room, gym, and a 2,000 sq. ft. attached 4-car garage. The parcels each have large open meadows that slope up to a wooded tree line with aspen and pine trees. There are numerous springs and ponds throughout the property and it is heavily forested with aspen, pine and spruce. The possibilities are endless with the prospect of a conservation easement or subdivision. Nestled on Routt County Road 43 near the historic Cow Creek Community Hall, this acreage is only a short trek to over 4,000 acres of BLM lands offering hiking, horseback riding, biking, and skiing. This is truly a spectacular property for the person that is looking for a large, private property just 13 miles from town.
It all started on the beautiful West Coast of California in the San Francisco Bay area. Colorado was always the home of my family, so - off with the sandals and on with the ski boots - the family arrived in Littleton, Colorado. In 1976, I attended CSU and then soon found myself wanting a career in the healthcare field.
After graduating from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and Radiologic Science, I was employed as manager of Boulder Memorial Hospital Trauma CT Unit.
