A truly one of a kind big game hunting offering in central Colorado. This 3400+ acre ranch located in Montrose, Gunnison and Delta counties includes the diverse habitats required to hold significant elk, deer, bear and wild turkey populations. The ranch's lower elevations at 6500', include the perfect rugged mule deer habitat of cedar & pinyon and then climbs through gambrel oaks and aspens to the exceptional high elevation mountain aspen and spruce environment. The ranch includes six established hunting cabins, abundant water in the form of springs, creeks and deeded water, 5 miles of private roads, fenced & cross fenced and additional BLM leased acres. East perimeter of ranch is bordered by Gunnison National Forest. The diverse topography and vegetation supports large numbers of elk and mule deer and due to the managed hunting, draws big game from adjacent public lands. Majority of ranch is contiguous with the exception of a 233 acre original homestead with irrigated pastures and domestic tap for domestic water needs. Originally homesteaded in the late 1800’s, this is the family’s first time offering. Truly one of a kind legacy hunting ranch.
It all started on the beautiful West Coast of California in the San Francisco Bay area. Colorado was always the home of my family, so - off with the sandals and on with the ski boots - the family arrived in Littleton, Colorado. In 1976, I attended CSU and then soon found myself wanting a career in the healthcare field.
After graduating from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and Radiologic Science, I was employed as manager of Boulder Memorial Hospital Trauma CT Unit.
